Qualification :
Essential:
First class Masters’ degree in Plant Physiology/ Biotechnology/Botany/Agriculture with Physiology as one of the subjects and three years research experience.
Bachelors’ degree with 4/5 years or those with 3 years bachelors’ degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET/SET or equivalent qualification conducted by UGCMHRD OR Post Graduate degree in relevant Professional courses.

Desirable:
Experience in field phenomics, growing plant in hydroponics, handling instruments for recording physiological traits photosynthesis, root system architecture, tissue N analysis (CHNS /Kjeldhal), micronutrient analysis, HPLC etc. Statistical packages and data interpretation, manuscript and report writing. Also should be able to supervise overall experiments and provide teaching assistance to PI.

Age Limit :
Maximum age is 40 years for RA (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women and three years for OBC). Minimum age should be of years as on date of interview.

How to Apply :
- The interview of the eligible candidate will be held on 26/08/2016 at 9.30 AM, in the committee Room Division of plant physiology.
- The candidate will have to compulsorily bring the filled in application form (as per the format annexed) all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either final provisional and one set the self – attested photo copies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted on to the application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be submitted.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Only the candidates meeting essential qualification would be interviewed.
- Concealing of facts of canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.
- All candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
- The candidate has to strictly submit the form annexed (typed/filled) duly signed and submit on the date of interview.
- Candidate working as where must bring NOC from their present Employer.
- Reporting time for interview: 9.30 AM at Division of Plant Physiology, ICAR-IARI New Delhi- 110012. Verification of documents will not be entertained after 10.30 AM.
