Agriculture Marketing Meeting Hosts by Manali.

The seminar is organized to discuss the various aspects of marketing and strengthening of agriculture and horticulture produces. Seminar of officials of agriculture marketing boards of Karnataka, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Himachal started here in September for four-days.

A group of officials, led by Delhi Agriculture Marketing Board vice-chairman V P Rao, visited agriculture produce market committee in Kullu in September and discussed the local marketing strategy.

Representatives of all the states are welcomed by Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Marketing Board managing director H S Baweja and made them acquainted with the problems that farmers and fruit growers of Himachal were facing in markets of Delhi.

H S Baweja also said that Himachal was working towards making state's products special brand which would help get it better prices in other states.
