A firm trend in edible oils provided the main feature of trading on the local oils and oils and oilseeds market today. With the lower than expected arrivals of groundnut in Saurashtra and better consumer offtake, groundnut oil advanced further. Imported RBD palmolein, however, held steady on narrow movements. In edible oils groundnut oil looked up by Rs 4 at Rs 345 per 10 kg against the previous close of Rs 340. RBD palmolein prices remained unchanged at its previous level of Rs 236 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial and castor BSS inched up by a rupee to quote at Rs 243 and Rs 255 per 10 kg respectively. |
