Coromandel Fertilizer's: High turnover

Hyderabad news agencies reported that the Coromandel Fertilizers has achieved a 27% growth in turnover at Rs. 613.85 crores against Rs. 484.47 crores. The net profit was higher at Rs. 48 crores against Rs. 46.87 crores. The EPS has gone up to Rs. 22.79 from Rs. 19.27.

The board of directors has only recommended interim dividend of Rs.5.50 per share than any further dividend.

In order to increase the complex granulation capacity the company has undertaken

the complex third granulation train project last year at a cost of Rs. 40 crore would be commissioned by July ,according to a company press release. This would help increase the complex granulation capacity by about 50% and also help reduce emission levels.

It is also reported that a second atmospheric ammonia storage tank being installed at a cost of Rs. 12.5 crores is nearing completion. The company is also implementing an ERP package (SAP) which is expected to improve operational efficiency.
