Local oil and oilseeds market reported that a firm trend was noticed, groundnut oil was dearer by Re 1 at Rs 406 per 10 kg on good demand. In supplementary oils, cottonseed and sunflower solvent refined held steady at Rs. 280 and Rs. 265 per 10 kg respectively on narrow movements. In imported oils, RBD palmolein, soyabean refined and crude remained unchanged at Rs.218, Rs.243 and 210 per 10 kg respectively. Rapeseed crude eased by Rs. 2 to Rs. 226 while refined looked up by Re 1 to Rs. 243 per 10 kg. In Mumbai, September castorseeds futures contract opened at Rs. 1,652 a quintal after it closed at Rs. 1,648 on the previous day. The contract recorded a high of Rs.1,657 and touched a low of Rs. 1,646, finally it settled at Rs. 1,653 a quintal, as reported. |
