The oils and oilseeds market showed a declined trend for groundnut oil marginally due to lack of fresh demand. Price of groundnut oil eased by Rs.2 to Rs. 408 against previous level of Rs. 412 per 10kg. In supplementary oils, cotton refined moved up by Re1 to Rs. 285 while sunflower solvent refined dropped by Re. 1 to Rs. 263 per 10kg. In imported oils, RBD palmolein eased by Re1 to Rs.220 per 10 kg. Both soyabean refined and crude held steady at Rs. 241 and Rs. 211 per 10 kg respectively. Sunflower and rapeseed crude also remained unchanged at Rs. 230 and Rs. 226 per 10 kg. In Mumbai, castorseeds September futures contract opened high at Rs. 1,542 after it closed at Rs. 1,544 a quintal on the previous day. The contract closed lower at Rs, 1,516 a quintal, as reported by market sources. |
