Due to lack of demand in the oils and oilseeds market, groundnut oil price eased further. The oil dropped Rs.1 to Rs.397 per 10kg. In supplementary oils, cotton refined held steady at Rs.270 while sunflower solvent refined eased by Rs.2 to Rs.255 per 10 kg, as reported. In case of imported oils, RBD palmolein moved up by Rs.1 to Rs.213 per 10 kg on good demand. Soyabean refined was quoted at its earlier level of Rs.235. crude moved up by Rs.1 to Rs.204 per 10 kg. Both sunflower crude and rapeseed crude maintained at Rs.223 per 10 kg respectively. In mumbai, castoreseeds September futures contract opened at Rs.1,511 after it closed at Rs.1,505 a quintal on the previous day. The contract recorded a high of Rs.1, 513 and a low of Rs.1,504 finally the contract closed at Rs.1,507 a quintal. The castorseeds December futures contract opened at Rs.1, 395 after it closed at Rs.1,380 a quintal on the previous day. The contract maintained a high of Rs.1, 395 and a low of Rs. 1,383, finally the contract closed at Rs.1,385 a quintal. In international castor oil, contract remained unmoved at Rs.346 per 10 kg. |
