The national market sources reported that the groundnut oils price eased by Rs.2 to 400 per 10 kg on thin demand and increased offerings. In supplementary oils, cotton refined and sunflower solvent refined held unchanged at Rs.272 and Rs.260 per 10kg, respectively. Imported oil market shows the mixed trends in which RBD palmolein eased by Re 1 to Rs.216 per 10kg respectively. Sunflower crude and rapeseed crude also held unchanged at Rs.225 and Rs.226 per 10kg respectively on subdued movements. On previous day castorseeds September futures contract opened at Rs.1, 542 after it closed at Rs.1, 548 a quintal in Mumbai. The contract recorded a high 1,548 and a low of Rs.1, 517, finally the contract closed at Rs.1,522 a quintal. The December castorseeds futures contract opened at Rs.1, 443 after it closed at Rs.1, 453 a quintal on the previous day. The contract recorded a high of Rs.1, 447 and a low of Rs.1, 446, finally the contract closed at Rs.1, 420 a quintal. In international castor oil, October contract declined by 6 to quote at Rs.358 per 10kg, as reported. |
