Groundnut oil remained unchanged at Rs.380 per 10 kg. It maintained a steady trend on oils and oilseeds market here on Friday on weak demand supported by restricted arrivals. In supplementary section, both cotton refined and sunflower solvent refined moved up by Rs.3 each to Rs.265 per 10 kg respectively. In the section of imported oils, RBD palmolein was quoted at Rs.221 per 10 kg against previous close of Rs.220. In Mumbai, castorseeds December ’00 futures contract opened at Rs.1,313 a quintal after it closed at Rs.1,308 on the previous day. RBD palmolein October contract opened at Rs.219.50 per 10kg after it closed at Rs.219.75. The contract maintained a high of Rs.219.50 and closed low at Rs.219 per 10 kg. |
