Small grade sugar advanced to Rs.1535/1550 a quintal from its last close of Rs.1528/1550. Medium grade (M-30) also moved up to Rs. 1556/1595 a quintal against previous level of Rs.1545/1585. Sugar prices for check-post held steady for S-30 grade at Rs.1510/1520 and for M-30 at Rs.1535/1545. Sugar prices for ex-mill delivery eased marginally due to the want of fresh enquries and were quoted as small grade Rs.1,455/1470 and for medium grade Rs.1475/1490 a quintal respectively. |
