Small grade sugar (S-30) moved up to Rs.1, 550/1,575 a quintal against its previous close of Rs.1, 535/1,555. Medium grade (M-30) also firmed up by Rs.20 a quintal to Rs.1, 576/1,615 from its last close of Rs. 1, 556/1,595. Sugar prices for check post were quoted higher for S-30 grade at Rs.1,523/1,535 and for the M-30 grade at Rs.1,550/1,565. Sugar prices for ex-mill delivery were as end up small qualities Rs.1,470/1,490 and medium grade Rs.1,500/1,515 a quintal respectively. |
