Changing market trends of grains and pulses

A mixed market conditions prevailed on the Delhi grains pulses. Common Basmati rice prices improved by Rs.50 at Rs.2,200/3,000 a quintal due to restricted supply from Punjab and Haryana. Demand in Basmati

Rice piramal was better due to higher prices of PDS rice. Rice piramal edged up by Rs.10 to Rs.960/1,100 a quintal.

Arhar fell by Rs.10; kabligram by Rs.50 and gram dipped by Rs.10/15 a quintal following arrival of new crop. Demand in dal arhar from the East remained thin.
