Gains in
Medium Grade Sugar
A
divergent trend continued to prevail on the Navi Mumbai wholesale sugar market here on
Wednesday.
Small
grade sugar suffered a setback on increased offerings. On the other hand, medium grade
sugar improved following hectic buying amid normal supply.
Small
grade sugar ( S-30) declined to Rs.1,505/1,555 a quintal against its previous level of
Rs.1,515/1,565. Medium grade (M-30) firmed up to Rs.1,535/1,610 a quintal, showing an
increase of Rs. 15 over the previous level of Rs. 1,540/1595.
Sugar
prices for check post deliveries showed a mixed tendency. Small grade sugar eased to Rs.
1,493/1,510 a quintal while medium grade rose by Rs.15 to Rs.1,512/1,555 a quintal on
encouraging enquiries from outstation buyers. |
