Varieties of Aster

Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth has recommended following four varieties of aster for cultivation.

• Phule Ganesh White: Flowers of this variety are white

• Phule Ganesh Violet : Bluish violet coloured flowers

• Phule Ganesh Pink : Pink coloured flowers

• Phule Ganesh Purple: Purple coloured flowers

These varieties are comparatively very good for branching, flower production, flower size, length of flower stems and flowering time.
