Vijetha : New disinfectant for sericulture The National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Tetragon Chime Ltd. For the transfer of technology for a new bed disinfectant for use by sericulture farmers. The product ‘Vijetha’ has been successfully developed by the Central Sericulture Research and Training Institute. Mysore an associated laboratory of the Central Silk Board. NDRC sources said its appropriate application could result in substantially imporved productivity by reducing mortality, due to disease and infection in sericulture. |
