Herbal milk booster + Tonic

Mother Nature has endowed India with the largest number of milk cattle. However the milk production per head is abysmally meagre. It is true that the milk production is limited by genetics. But it can be increased considerably with effective management of nutrition and water. Indo-biotica, a company working in the field of medicinal plants has developed a herbal Milk Booster And Tonic which stimulates yield and quality of milk. It also enhances healthiness of animals from within. There are no side-effects. During the trials, it was observed that wonderful results could be seen within just a week. The cost of Milk Booster and Tonic per animal per day comes to only four rupees. Naturally the company is going for world-patent. For the time being company will produce milk booster and tonic in their laboratory. This production will be useful for dealers and stockists to try the product in their area and assess the market accurately. The company has kept all options open as regards entering the market for capital or getting venture capital or manufacturing through franchaise. Push-pull System

They are difficult to control by chemical methods because their eggs and larvae are hidden deep inside the stem. The conventional methods of controlling root parasitic weeds such as striga have only a limited impact. There is a push pull system, which is effective against both stem borers and striga in Maize and Sorghum. The principle behind the push-pull system is that pests are repelled from the field by one plant population and, at the same time, attracted by others planted around the crop field and prevented from actual feeding on the crop itself. The stem borer will be attracted to Napier grass or Sudan grass by their smell which are grown in several rows outside the maize field and produces a gummy substance that traps the larvae. At the same time Napier and Sudan grasses are good fodder. From inside the field, the stem borer is made to repel by molasses grass (Melinis minutiflora) or Silver leaf Desmodium (Desmodium uncinatum). This can reduce 40% of maize crop yield/per cent losses. The Desmodium is good crop for inter cropping being a legume it binds nitrogen and enriches the soil. Keeping the soil moist reduces erosion and can be used as a fodder.
