Qualification Essential :
Post graduate degree or M.Sc. Bio-technology or MD degree in case of Dravyaguna in the concerned subjects like Dravyaguna / Botany/ Applied Botany/ Zoology / Applied Zoology/ Agriculture / Horticulture / Wildlife / Forestry / Marine Biology or limnology / Fisheries / Microbiology M.Sc. Bio-technology.

Requirements :
The selected candidates are required to tour extensively throughout Karnataka.
Should have a positive attitude in dealing with local people in villages.
Candidate will be provided Travelling allowance when on official duty as per rules, in addition to their consolidated monthly remuneration.
Deductions from the remuneration will be made as per law.
The candidates are desired to be fluent in speaking and writing in Kannada and English languages with proficiency in basic computer applications like M.S. Office and others.

Age Limit : Maximum age 35 years.

Screening of Candidates for interview :
Criteria for screening the suitable candidates will be determined as follows:
1. Percentage of marks of Post Graduate (M.Sc / MD) would be taken as starting point (PG point).

2. Pre-University Course marks in excess of 70%. - for each 1%, one point would be added to the PG points [Candidates who have scored less than 70% in PUC are also eligible, but will not get any benefit to PG point for screening]

3. Experience in writing PBR - 2 marks for each year of experience will be added.

The Screening of the candidates will be done by aggregating the points as stated above and top five candidates will be called for interview for each temporary post of Technical Executives.

How to Apply :
Karnataka Biodiversity Board will acknowledge the receipt of every application. Candidates are requested to send the duly filled application form by Post.

Note :
All connected documents regarding qualification /experience shall be self-attested copies of originals, which should be produced during interview. Upon offer of appointment, the candidate would be required to sign a contract which can be terminated by giving one month notice anytime by either party during the period of employment.

Proof of experience should be brought at the time of interview.

The list of shortlisted candidates for interview will be displayed on the notice Board of Karnataka Biodiversity Board on 10/06/2016 and will be uploaded on the Website of Karnataka Biodiversity Board on the same day. There will be no separate communication to any individual.

The interview will be held on 13/06/2016 and 14/06/2016 at the office of the Member Secretary, Karnataka Biodiversity Board between 10.00AM to 4.00PM. Reporting time will be intimated to the applicants through the website.
